Richmond Park was one of Grand Rapids' original parks known as Richmond Hill. The park used to be a recreational area for skiing with a jump and toboggan chute. Located at Richmond St. and Alpine Ave., this park has everything to offer for every season of the year. There are ball diamonds, basketball courts, grills, picnic tables and shelters, mountain bike trails, playground, sledding hill, swimming pool, tennis courts, and so much more!

West Grand Neighborhood Highlights
Bridge Street Market
Bridge Street Market was established in 2018 as the first small-format market opened by Meijer. Located at Bridge St. and Seward Ave., this is a perfect spot for the residents that live and work in the West Grand neighborhood. They have a large selection of fresh produce and local and artisan groceries.
They have Meijer and national brand products as well. On-site you will also find

Blue Dog Tavern was established in 2014 and is located on the corner of Stocking Ave. and 4th St. It was originally the home to the City Trust and Savings Bank during the great depression. Not long after the prohibition, it was ceded out and operated as Frank’s Tavern and Beer Garden. Then the iconic building became the home to the Kopper Top which operated for over 40 years.
If you are looking for a great cozy atmosphere with good food this is where you need to be.
